Wise Capital, LLC (“Wise Capital,” “we,” “us”) operates the ForVue platform at platform.investwisecap.com (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated by your use of the Platform.

Account information — name, email address, mobile phone number (only when you enable SMS notifications), password (stored hashed), account preferences, and role.
Property data — addresses, unit counts, appliance inventories, service events, photos, notes, and any other information you or your team enter about the properties you manage.
Billing information — processed by Stripe on our behalf. We store subscription status, unit counts for metered billing, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. We never see or store your payment card number.
Usage telemetry — pages visited, features used, session duration, and error events, tied to your user ID. Retained for ninety (90) days on the change event stream, then aggregated and anonymized. Used to improve the Platform.
Integration data — when you connect Rent Manager, Hospitable, TapMetrIQ, or other third parties, we import property, unit, reservation, review, and meter-reading data on your behalf. Credentials are stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide the Platform and its features; (b) authenticate you and secure your account; (c) send you transactional emails (welcome, billing, alerts) and, if you enable it, SMS notifications; (d) improve the Platform and develop new features; (e) comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. SMS Communications

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are collected and used solely to deliver the transactional notifications you enabled in your account settings. No mobile opt-in data, including mobile phone number and consent flag, is shared with third parties or affiliates for any marketing or promotional purpose. This restriction applies under all circumstances and cannot be overridden by any other section of this Privacy Policy.

Program description. By enabling SMS notifications in Settings → Notifications and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive recurring transactional text messages from ForVue notifying you when a tenant submits a maintenance workflow through a self-diagnosis share link you created. Each text asks you to log into the Platform to review the submission. The setting is off by default; you must explicitly opt in.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Approximately one message per tenant submission per share link, rate-limited to at most one message per share link per hour to prevent duplicates.

Content. Messages contain the property address, unit number, and a link to the Platform. They do not contain tenant personal information.

Carrier and rates. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier. We do not charge for SMS. Not all US carriers are supported.

Help and opt-out. Reply HELP to any message for support. You can opt out at any time by (a) replying STOP to any text message, or (b) disabling SMS notifications in Settings → Notifications. After you opt out you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts.

SMS data handling. Your phone number is stored on your user record encrypted at rest. The number is transmitted only to our SMS delivery carrier (Twilio, Inc.) for the sole purpose of delivering the message you asked to receive. Twilio acts as a message-transport carrier under contract to ForVue — not as a marketing partner, affiliate, or independent recipient of your data. Twilio may not use your phone number or messaging consent data for any purpose other than delivering ForVue’s messages on our behalf.

If any statement elsewhere in this Privacy Policy appears to conflict with the mobile-information non-sharing commitment above, the non-sharing commitment controls.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Beyond that categorical restriction on mobile-opt-in data, the only entities that receive any of your information are:

Payment processor — Stripe processes billing on our behalf. We store subscription status, unit counts for metered billing, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Payment card numbers never touch our servers.
Communication carriers — SendGrid delivers our transactional emails and Twilio, Inc. delivers our transactional SMS messages. These carriers act strictly as message-transport providers under contract to ForVue. They do not receive your data for their own use and are contractually prohibited from using your mobile phone number or messaging consent data for marketing, promotional, or affiliate purposes.
Hosting — DigitalOcean hosts the Platform infrastructure inside the United States.
Vendor lookup — when you search for a service provider, we query Google’s Places API with the search terms you enter. We do not send your account details or mobile phone number.
Diagnostic AI infrastructure — when you use the appliance-diagnosis features, we send the appliance description you enter to a third-party AI model provider under contract for the sole purpose of producing a diagnostic response. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sent.
Integration partners you connect — when you connect Rent Manager, Hospitable, TapMetrIQ, or another property-management platform, we exchange the data required by that integration. You control the connection and can disconnect at any time in Settings. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sent to integration partners.
Sub-users you invite — team members you add to your account can see the data you grant them access to, subject to the role and property restrictions you assign.
Legal compliance — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
Business transfers — if we sell or transfer the business, your information may transfer to the acquirer, subject to this Privacy Policy and to the mobile-information non-sharing commitment above.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Property Data for the duration of your account and for 90 days after cancellation, then delete it. Aggregated data that no longer identifies you or your properties may be retained indefinitely for analytics and Platform improvement.

6. Security

We encrypt integration credentials at rest with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections use TLS 1.2 or higher. We store data in the United States on DigitalOcean infrastructure. We are not currently SOC 2 certified; SOC 2 Type II is in progress.

7. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data by logging into the Platform. For requests not available through the UI, email wise@investwisecap.com. We respond within 30 days. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable law.

8. Children

The Platform is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and in-app banner at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
