Frequently asked

Does ForVue write anything to Rent Manager?
No. The integration is strictly read-only and scoped to RM's Partner Token read endpoints. ForVue never modifies, creates, or deletes records in your RM database.
SOC 2, SSO, data residency?
SOC 2 Type II is in progress (target Q4 2026). SSO/SAML available on institutional plans. All customer data is stored in the United States. Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Request our security questionnaire response at wise@investwisecap.com.
We operate multiple ownership groups across separate RM databases. Can ForVue handle that?
Yes. ForVue auto-discovers all Locations your Partner Token can access. Properties and units segregate by ownership group with pagination support up to 50,000 records per resource per Location. Per-owner billing splits are available.
MSA, procurement, and security review process?
For institutional engagements we sign MSAs, complete security questionnaires (CAIQ, SIG-Lite), and provide DPA / BAA on request. Median time from intro to signed agreement is 3–5 weeks. Can we embed ForVue on individual property pages inside Rent Manager?
Yes. Generate a single-property embed code in ForVue's Bulk Import → Embed Code Generator, then paste the iframe snippet into the property's custom HTML widget in RM. Read-only, token-based, auto-refreshes every 5 minutes.
How is billing calculated, and what does the trial cover?
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial — card on file at signup, no charge until day 8. After the trial, $2.50 per unit per month, billed monthly via Stripe. ForVue uses the higher of your declared unit count at signup or your actual synced unit count, so the number tracks acquisitions and dispositions automatically. Volume tiers kick in at 1,000+ units — talk to us for terms. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.
What happens if we disconnect Rent Manager later?
Syncs stop and the company code clears. Your imported data — properties, units, service history, risk scores, generated reports — stays in ForVue. Reconnect anytime by re-entering the company code; incremental sync resumes.
Is ForVue actually built by multifamily operators, or is this marketing copy?
Built by Wise Capital, an operating multifamily investor. The numbers in the "From our own portfolio" block above are live from our Louisville assets (408 & 410 Bourbon Town) as of May 2026. We run ForVue on the same database we sell.
